THERE IS ONE TRUE GOD WHO IS HOLY AND RIGHTEOUS
In the Bible God reveals Himself as: Supremely perfect—none like him. Infinitely holy—set apart from wickedness. Absolutely righteous—just in all He wills and acts.Isaiah 46:9, Habakkuk 1:13, Psalm 11:7

GOD CREATED THE WORLD AND EVERYTHING IN IT, AND HE CREATED HUMANITY IN HIS IMAGE
God created everything from the brightest star in the universe to the smallest dust particle floating in the air. He created the mighty whale and the crawling beetle. Of all His creation, He values humanity most. He proves this by creating us in his image.Genesis 1:27, Psalm 139:13-14, Colossians 1:15-17, Hebrews 11:1-2

GOD DESIGNED US TO WORSHIP HIM, ENJOY HIM, AND REFLECT HIS IMAGE
God designed us because He loves us. In response to His love, we should live our lives seeking to know Him and reflect His character to those around us.Genesis 1:28, Psalm 84:11-12, 1 Corinthians 10:31

HUMANITY HAS REBELLED AGAINST GOD
God placed humanity in His wonderful paradise—the garden—and commanded them saying, “You can eat the fruit from every tree in My garden except for the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat from it you will be cursed with death.” Adam and Eve rebelled against God, rejected His love, and ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Their sin separated them from God, and He expelled them from the garden. Because Adam sinned all of creation is cursed—evil and suffering are now present everyday in the world.

We, like Adam, have rebelled against God. We think, say, and do things that are disobedient to His commands. We have enjoyed and worshiped things like money, careers, people, titles, and possessions more that we love and enjoy God.  Our disobedience has separated us from fellowship with God.Genesis 3:11-13, Isaiah 59:2, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12

GOD CONDEMNS EVERYONE WHO REBELS AGAINST HIM
Our disobedience to God does not go unnoticed or unpunished. God is holy and righteous, and He will pour out His wrath (holy justice) against everyone enjoys and worships other people or things above Him.Romans 1:18, Ephesians 5:6

GOD LOVES US AND SENT HIS SON JESUS CHRIST TO RESCUE US FROM HIS WRATH
God was motivated by His love to provide the way for us to be in fellowship with Him. He sent Jesus Christ, His son, into the world to present Himself as the atoning sacrifice that would satisfy God’s wrath against our sin, thus restoring peace between God and us.1 John 4:8-10

JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS AND WAS RAISED TO LIFE AGAIN
When Jesus was on the cross, a great transaction took place. All our sin—thoughts, words, deeds—were put on Christ, and He was “pierced” and “crushed” for our iniquities. But, when Christ took our sin He gave to us His perfect righteousness so that we could be declared, “NOT GUILTY.” Through Jesus’ death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead we are forgiven of our sin, reconciled to fellowship with God, and given new life!Isaiah 53:4-5, Romans 4:25, Romans 5:6-11

EVERYONE WHO REPENTS OF THEIR SIN AND TRUSTS IN JESUS CHRIST WILL BE FORGIVEN AND MADE NEW
We cannot earn God’s forgiveness, but we can receive it through faith in Jesus Christ. We receive God’s mercy through trusting that the death of Christ on the cross was for us. Faith in Christ is accompanied by repentance. Repentance means that we grieve our sin, renounce our sin, and live a new life committed to following Jesus Christ.Psalm 51:3-4, John 1:12-13, 2 Corinthians 7:10, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 8:12, Luke 9:23

IF YOU REPENT OF YOUR SIN AND TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST, HEAVEN WILL BE YOUR HOME FOR ETERNITY
Today is the day to make things right with God. Do not harden your heart to His mercy but seek Him and call out to Him; for everyone who calls on Him will be saved!Luke 23:42-43, 1 John 5:13, Isaiah 55:6, Hebrews 3:15, Romans 10:1
