As we have been led by the Spirit of God to repent of all our sin and believe in the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we commit our full and faithful participation to the local gathering of Christ’s body at First Baptist Church of Atlanta. As part of this commitment we willingly enter into this covenant with our fellow believers, striving together as we worship God through the following endeavors:
We endeavor to worship God by maintaining a personal relationship with him through faith in Christ. To this end we commit to personally seeking  the Lord through his word and prayer. We also commit to respond to the Lord's commands in obedience as He is training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live self-controlled, righteous and godly lives in this present age.
We endeavor to worship God by continuing to build Christ-exalting relationships with one another. To this end we commit to gather with this local body for corporate worship, prayer, fellowship, Bible study and celebration of the ordinances. We also willfully dedicate our time, energy and money to support the ministries of this body.
In an effort to maintain the unity of the body we will seek to love one another through offering forgiveness, fellowship, encouragement, counsel and compassion while refraining from gossip, lying, insolence and other divisive behavior. Finally, we will display a Christian care and watchfulness over one another and faithfully warn, rebuke, and admonish one another as the case shall require.
We endeavor to worship God by letting our light shine before men so that they might see our good works and glorify the Father. To this end we commit our lives to sharing the gospel with non-believers while striving to live peaceably with all people, so that they may be reconciled to God through Christ.
If we depart from this congregation, we will unite with another like-minded body who is striving to keep the spirit of this covenant.
