AWANA stands for 2 Timothy 2:15 "Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed".  This is a nationally recognized program that meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:30 pm from August to May.  This program engages children from ages 4 years old to 6th Grade.  AWANA offers several opportunities for your child to grow spiritually through scripture memorization and a basic understanding of Biblical principles and doctrines.  It also provides an opportunity for children to learn to compete as a team not just as individuals.  They will learn to win and lose with a proper attitude of fair play and sportsmanship.

AWANA Commander:  Stephanie Adkins
AWANA Co-Commander:  Brandy Baker
Puggles:  Nicki Miller and Carla Garnett
Cubbies:  Cindi Glenn, Tina Young, and Aymee Young
Sparks:  Beth Miller and Debbie Cain
T&T:  Fawn Young and Florence Riley
We also have numerous volunteers who help children memorize and recite scripture each week.

We also offer a Family Meal night in conjuntion with out AWANA Program.  Family Meal night is the first Wednesday of each month during the club year.  This is a wonderful way to fellowship with the clubbers and their families.  A short devotion is held after the meal before clubbers are released to their classes.
